How good is my laptop for gaming?
I've recently bought a Compaq Presario CQ-45 106AU notebook powered by an AMD Turion X2 processor and sporting an ATI Radeon 3200 graphics card.
The Windows Experience Index shows a base score of 3.4, with gaming graphics getting 3.7
How good is it for gaming? Can I play the latest games at even the lowest settings?
Can I play Crysis, FarCry 2, Spore etc?
Well, I believe you also need some memory... Probably around 2-4 gb (If you have Vista, keep in mind that it is a resource hungry OS; meaning it will take even more power to run a game using Vista than any other OS such as XP, Linux, etc.). The 3200 Radeon isn't a top notch card. It's will probably play games like FEAR and Doom 3 at the most, with below average frame-rates.
