Am I able to mount a double / double slot graphics card in the GA-M720-US3 Gigabyte motherboard?
Hello, I'm hoping to buy an ASUS EAH3650 Graphics SILENT/HTDI/512M card and put it in a motherboard Gigabyte GA-M720-US3. What my problem is, however, is that this graphics card takes 2 slots (bit normal background with a passive cooler taking the top few, see here: http://uk.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=o4NwT0sA5Yz8CAHK&templete=2 On page 17 of this manual for the motherboard, however: http://europe.giga-byte.com/FileList/ Manual/motherboard_manual_ga-m720-us3_e.pdf it shows that there are two ports X16 PCI-E x1 above the one. What I want to know is what I would be able to put the graphics card in x16 slot, with the passive cooler covering a PCI-E x1 or it would simply not fit?
It fits well, I have a huge map and covers the pci-pci in my e16, they would not make a map if it is embedded in 99.99% of the motherboards
